3D Work

Miscellaneous 3D Work

During my first two terms of MultiMediaArt studies at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences I had to do some 3D modeling for various courses. Here are some renderings.

Wikipedia

In 3D computer graphics, 3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of object (either inanimate or living) via specialized software. The product is called a 3D model. It can be displayed as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering or used in a computer simulation of physical phenomena.

The task was to redo a certain video tutorial on subdivision modeling. I decided to create some kind of fantasy-mantis with a picture from the internet as draft. The texture was mainly done from photos of leaves.

Deformer Fun
A slightly postprocessed rendering created mostly from deformed objects, which were arranged manually.

My first 3D-project ever. We had to learn the basics of 3D modeling and texturing with the support and help of a tutor (Daniel Übleis).
